Policies and Procedures

POLICIES & PROCEDURES:

At Functional Kinetics, I understand that unanticipated events occur in everyone's life. Unforeseen events such as sick children, car problems, traffic considerations, business meetings, and project deadlines, are just a few reasons why one might consider canceling a massage appointment.

In my commitment to provide a unique and outstanding massage experience to all clients and out of consideration for your therapist's time, I have adopted the following policies:

ARRIVAL TO YOUR SESSION

Client and therapist are expected to be present 10 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time. All services offered have a specific time schedule and a slightly early arrival allows for a relaxed and unhurried experience. If late arrival is inevitable at the client's response, the session may be shortened in order to keep on schedule. Every client is important and since the sessions are for the full allotted time billed I want to be able to keep everyone on schedule keeping every ones' lives a little more stress free...

CANCELATION POLICY

At Functional Kinetics, there is a 6 hour cancellation policy. This window gives me time to fill the space of my now emptied schedule thus making sure that I am compensated for my time.

If you should need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you may do so up to 6 hours prior to your appointment start time without penalty. However, if you cancel your appointment with less than 6 hour notice --or you fail to show up to your appointment at all - you will be invoiced a cancellation fee of $40, which must be paid before I will see you again.

Remember, I value your time as well as my own, and there are many clients looking for massage appointments at the last minute. Cancellations or no-shows do cost money. I am not simply here to help you feel better but to make a living as well. Your business and health are both of great importance to me.

LATE ARRIVAL POLICY

To be fair and courteous to other clients, 30 Minute Massages will be cancelled and rescheduled 5 minutes after their scheduled start time if a client is not present. For appointments longer than 30 Minutes, I will still be able to see you for a shorter appointment depending on the time of your arrival and on your therapist’s schedule.
